Our Story
FamLifePlus began not as a plan, but as a need. In 2025, Jane and her husband, Chizurum Anabaraonye, welcomed their twins under complex circumstances. A twin pregnancy led to preterm labor, preeclampsia, and an emergency cesarean delivery. The weeks that followed brought the quiet struggle of postpartum depression.
Jane found her footing again through journaling. Putting words to her experience became a form of repair. She and Chizurum talked often about the expert care that guided them through, particularly the steady presence of their obstetrician, Dr. Hilda. They realized how many families navigate similar paths without that same network of support.
So they built one. They gathered their notes, reached out to Dr. Hilda and other professionals, and started a blog. It was a simple beginning: one story, then another. The goal was clear—to create a grounded space where clinical expertise meets lived experience. FamLifePlus was formally registered in Wyoming, USA, to anchor this work.
This platform is our commitment to extending the care that changed everything for our family.
